Ninjas in Pyjamas will participate in EPICENTER, according to a Friday announcement from the team. They will look to improve on a third-place finish at BLAST Pro Series Istanbul and a ninth-11th place finish at the FACEIT Major.

Ninjas in Pyjamas are the fifth and final team to accept an invitation to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament set to be held in Moscow from Oct. 23 to Oct. 28. They join, in order of invitation: Natus Vincere, FaZe ClanTeam Liquid and mousesports. Three teams remain to be determined by the Wild Card qualifier set to take place the day before EPICENTER proper begins.

Astralis also received an invitation to EPICENTER, but declined in favor of recovery time from a schedule of heavy travel.

EPICENTER announced this year's competition Aug. 15. Last year saw SK Gaming take home the victory over Virtus.pro. SK Gaming will not attend this year's EPICENTER, while VP hopes to qualify through the Wild Card competition.
