Virtus.pro took home the prize on Sunday, Oct. 14 after beating NoPangolier in a best of five series at the Maincast Autumn Brawl.

Both finalists put on an incredible performance throughout the series. The first match lasted for over 70 minutes, and the net worth lead swung back and forth between the two teams like a pendulum. It was only when Vladmir "No[o]ne" Minenko managed to score a kill on the enemy carry when the game finally drew to a close. The following two matches also went in favor of VP, and it ended the final with a 3-0 sweep. Regardless of the outcome, NoPangolier managed to place itself as a top contender in the season to come.

Although NoPangolier put on a good show, Virtus.pro has undoubtedly been the star of the tournament, beating out both Team Spirit and Ninjas in Pajamas on the way to the top. Virtus.pro's incredible coordination and mechanical skill led them to a tournament victory and will make them a contender for TI9.

For the former king of the Dota Pro Circuit, this start could mean that VP is going to solidify its place as rank one, once again.
