​The League of Legends World Championship quarterfinal schedule was revealed, as matches begin Saturday. The quarterfinals are next in the tournament before the field drops further to the semifinals and finals.

​​When does it start and what teams are playing?

The quarterfinals begin on Saturday and will end on Sunday. Eight teams will compete in the quarterfinals to determine the four teams that will advance to the semifinals.

Game 1: Saturday at 12 a.m. E.T.

Game 2: Saturday at 4 a.m. E.T.

- Royal Never Give Up vs. G2 Esports

Game 3: Sunday at 12 a.m. E.T.

Game 4: Sunday at 4 p.m. E.T.

- Fnatic vs. EDward Gaming.


What is the format?

Unlike the previous best-of-ones matches, all quarterfinals games will be a best-of-five series.
