Invictus Gaming defeated G2 Esports Saturday and advanced to the League of Legends World Championship finals Nov. 3. 

​​The team defeat G2 Esports 3-0 in the League of Legends World Championship semifinals and will move on to the finals at Incheon Nov. 3. G2's run in the tournament ends at a shared third and fourth place. 


Invictus Gamings' opponent will be decided Sunday in the second semifinal match. The winner of Cloud9 and Fnatic will face off against Invictus Gaming at the finals. The semifinal match will be a best-of-five.


Riot Games ​chose to hold this year's iteration of the World Championship in South Korea. The competition traveled around major cities in Korea for the various parts of the tournament and will end at Incheon for the finals.
