Pokémon Let's Go: How to Become Friends With Partner Pokémon

Becoming friends with a partner Pokémon and Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! is not easy. It takes time, effort, and love.
When a player is taking a break between exploring and battling, it's the perfect time to interact with their partner Pokémon. Spending time with the partner Pokémon increases its bond with the player. As it sits on the player's arm, a player can edit, feed it, and tickle it. It's just like having a pet in real life without any of the stress or responsibilities!
For a more immersive experience, players can detach the Joy-Con and use it to play or pet their partner.
Playing with a partner Pokémon
Playing with a partner Pokémon and becoming its friend isn't just fun, it's rewarding too. The stronger the bond the player house with their partner Pokémon, the more frequently Pikachu or Eevee will use their special techniques, Pika Papow and Veevee Volley, respectively. Not only will a strong bond increase the frequency of the moves, but it will increase the damage and power of them as well.
The most fun thing a player can do with their partner Pokémon is dress them up in funny outfits, and give them cool haircuts. Doing so doesn't increase friendship level or anything like that, but does make the Pokémon and player look even more connected.
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! release on Nov. 16
