Invictus Gaming defeated Fnatic at the League of Legends World Championship grand finals.

​​After a short break from the semifinals, which ended Oct. 28, the League of Legends World Championship concluded with the grand finals at Incheon on Saturday. Invictus Gaming swept Fnatic away and defeated the team 3-0 to become the winner of the five-week long event.

Both Fnatic and Invictus Gaming came from group D and were pit against each other in a tiebreaker to decide how the teams would be paired in the quarterfinals. Invictus Gaming lost the tiebreaker match, but was able to get its revenge against Fnatic in the grand finals, when it mattered the most. 

Invictus Gaming will take home $843,750 from the prize pool for winning first place.
