Misfits jungler, Nubar "Maxlore" Sarafian, announced Tuesday that he's allowed to explore options for the upcoming League of Legends season, according to a Tweet Maxlore posted.

The League of Legends player announced Tuesday that Misfits, despite still being under contract with the team, is allowing him to explore other team options. Maxlore's most recent stint with Misfits started in May 2017. He helped Misfits to a second place finish in the EU LCS 2017 summer playoffs and a top eight finish at Worlds later that year.

Misfits failed to qualify for the most recent League of Legends World Championship, losing to Splyce in the EU LCS regional final.

Misfits was reportedly accepted as an EU LCS franchise for the upcoming season. Movistar Riders, SK Gaming, Rogue and North were also reportedly accepted as the final four EU LCS franchises on Sunday.
