Overwatch associate game designer Joshua Noh sat with Los Angeles Gladiators' DPS Lane "Surefour" Roberts during a stream at Blizzard's new Overwatch Creator Residency program. Noh revealed Doomfist will receive a few nerfs on the next Overwatch Public Test Region patch.

On the topic of Doomfist, Noh explained balance changes will be made to a few heroes -- including Doomfist, who can be an oppressive enemy in the right hands. His Seismic Slam, for example, will have its range reduced from 20 to 15 meters, lowering the max damage from 85 to 65. Enemies affected by Doomfist's Rising Uppercut will only lose control of their character or be unable to move for 0.6 seconds, which is essentially the part where players are knocked into the air.

There are changes underway with his Rocket Punch, but Blizzard is still testing out possible nerfs. An internal change that reduced the Rocket Punch distance when canceled with a jump was reverted.

Noh also revealed balance changes to McCree and Bastion were coming to the Overwatch PTR, too.
