Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen left Cloud9 and will join fellow NA LCS franchise Team Liquid, the teams announced Monday.

Jensen leaves Cloud9 after playing for the team since May 2015. He helped the team to a 3rd-4th finish at the League of Legends World Championship.

“Cloud9 and namely Jack have been no less than family to me over the past years, but I am writing this statement to let you know that from now on, I will be playing for Team Liquid. I am changing things because I feel that will give me the best chance of achieving my goal, to become the very best version of myself," Jensen said in Cloud9's official release.

It is unknown if Team Liquid plans to deploy a dual mid lane roster with Eugene "Pobelter" Park. Team Liquid won both the NA LCS spring and summer split titles, but was eliminated in the group stage of Worlds.
