The Dota Summit 10, a Dota 2 event held by Beyond the Summit, is now postponed until 2019, organizers revealed Monday. No makeup dates were initially announced.

Dota 2 commentator David "GoDz" Parker announced Dota Summit 10 would no longer be held as planned. "Unfortunately, after many weeks of trying to make the event still possible, we have to announce that we are postponing Dota Summit 10," the post read. "We ran into issues with confirming teams and uncertainty with securing visas for potential replacements."

GoDz went on to say the event will be postponed for 2019, but had no specific time in mind. "We're going to postpone the event to make sure that when we do run it that it's the best possible for the community," he said.

Dota Summit 9 was held in July where Evil Geniuses won first place. Fnatic and one team that was yet to be determined were expected to compete at Dota Summit 10.
