Team Liquid won CS:GO SuperNova Malta after beating NRG Esports in the grand finals Sunday.

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major finished Sunday with the grand finals between Team Liquid and NRG Esports. Team Liquid defeat NRG 2-0 in the best-of-three series to become the champion of the tournament.
The victory marks Team Liquid's first first place victory in a tournament since ESL Pro League Season 7 in April.
SUperNova Malta was a CS:GO Major that featured eight invited teams. It began Thursday with the group stages before heading into the semifinals Saturday. The grand finals and third place match were scheduled for Sunday. Team Liquid ended the tournament in first place, with NRG Esports in second place, and BIG in third place.
