PUBG PS4 will launch without Vikendi, PUBG's upcoming snow map, according to an FAQ posted by PUBG Corp. The new map will not yet make its way to the Playstation 4 version of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS.

PUBG Corp's FAQ addresses many important questions about the PUBG PS4 release but perhaps most notably reveals that PUBG PS4 will launch with the same maps available on PUBG PC and PUBG Xbox: Erangel, Miramar and Sanhok. It remains likely Vikendi will release on all three platforms soon after PUBG PS4's launch in light of the Survivor Pass: Vikendi that appears as a PUBG PS4 pre-order bonus.

The FAQ offers several other tidbits related to PUBG PS4's release. For example, PUBG PS4 pre-orders will receive PUBG themes and avatars for their PS4 profiles. Custom matches and event modes will have a delayed release on PS4 (with no date specified), while map and mode selection will become available as servers fill to support them.

PUBG Corp reiterated its interest in cross-platform play, but stated that the feature would not be available at launch.
