Team Liquid lifted the MegaFon Winter Clash trophy Sunday, defeating Natus Vincere 3-0 in the grand finals.

Team Liquid, one of the five teams invited to the Dota 2 event, cleaned up at the Russian tournament. The team topped its group Friday, defeating Forward Gaming and PSG.LGD in a pair of 2-0 series to skip straight to winners finals of the playoffs stage.

In winners finals, Team Liquid had its first series against Natus Vincere, which had also managed to emerge from its group as the top team. That series ended in a quick 2-0 for Liquid, sending Natus Vincere down to the losers bracket. There, Natus Vincere beat back PSG.LGD for a second shot at Liquid.

That second shot came to naught, as Liquid took another two straight games to knock the Ukrainian team out of the tournament and claim the $150,000 grand prize. Liquid closed out the tournament 8-0, having never lost a round.

Team Liquid qualified for the upcoming Chongqing Major Nov. 30. That same day, its star player Kuro "Kuroky" Salehi Takhasomi became the first Dota 2 pro to ever play every single hero in professional matches.
