Byung Ho “Panker” Lee signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Gladiators for Overwatch League Season 2.

The deal will allow him to play in both the Contenders and the Overwatch League.

Panker played on Team KongDoo Uncia during Overwatch APEX Season 1 before moving to North America and signing with the Toronto Esports. Eventually, he would find himself on the Gladiators Legion last year where he earned his promotion to play for both rosters.

Charlie Lipsie, director of esports, shared his thoughts on the promotion, “We’re happy to welcome Panker to part of the OWL roster. We have at least two players in every position except main tank. He’s done an excellent job as main tank in our Contenders and will be a great back up."

The Gladiators recently signed a third Finnish player in Riku "Ripa" Toivanen making all three starting supports former members of Team Gigantti.

The second season of the Overwatch League will begin on Feb. 14.
