The first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team invited to BLAST Pro Series São Paulo is MIBR, organizers revealed.

BLAST Pro Series São Paulo will include MIBR as a competitor. The website officially revealed its first invited and confirmed CS:GO team for the tournament Saturday, which Ricardo "dead" Sinigaglia later confirmed through a tweet. BLAST Pro Series São Paulo will feature a $250,000 prize pool and the tournament is scheduled to run from March 22-23. Five more CS:GO teams are expected to be invited and revealed for the tournament in the months that follow.

MIBR recently played at the BLAST Pro Series Lisbon tournament, where the team finished in fourth place. It took home $15,000 in prize money.

Reports surfaced about a possible trade in MIBR, claiming Team Liquid's Epitácio "TACO" de Melo and its head coach Wilton "zews" Prado will join MIBR for Jake "Stewie2K" Yip.
