Mortal Kombat 11 Pennywise: Everyone's favorite killer clown from Stephen King's "It" has been a wanted addition in the Mortal Kombat franchise since MKX started adding famous movie villains.

Pennywise would coincide with "It: Chapter Two's" release in September 2019. But it appears to be just a fan wish more than anything substantial as of now.

Pennywise would be the fifth horror movie villain to join the Mortal Kombat franchise following MKX. NetherRealm Studios added Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, a xenomorph from Alien, the Predator from Predator, and Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Mortal Kombat 11 Pennywise: Is Stephen King's Clown Coming to MK?

It was a major success at the box office, and fans are excited for "It: Chapter Two" in 2019. A crossover with the next iteration of one of the biggest fighting game franchises of all time makes sense. Plus, the possibilities for fatalities piqued my interest. But as of right now, there's no plan for it to happen.

Mortal Kombat 11 releases April 23, 2019. Pre-orders went live earlier this month, and the game's headlined song is done by 21 Savage.
