PUBG VR is a tempting proposition for many of the game's most ardent fans. Playing PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS in virtual reality could be the most immersive way to play the game, giving each firefight the immediacy and danger of real life combat. But is the feature even available? Here's everything you need to know about PUBG VR.
PUBG VR: Is it Possible to Play PUBG in VR?
The quest for virtual reality PUBG seems to have hit fever pitch this week following a stream and video by Michael "shroud" Grzesiek in which he played a game that looks like PUBG entirely in virtual reality. The game, titled STAND OUT: VR Battle Royale, tries its best to emulate the PUBG experience in virtual reality, but it's missing a massive amount of content and polish.
For fans looking for the real deal, there's no official PUBG VR release on the market or publicly in the works. The closest thing is to play standard PUBG using the third party app Bigscreen, though it's only recommended for the strongest computers.
