League of Legends new skins include three additions to the Blood Moon skin line for Pyke, Sivir and Aatrox. All three are set to arrive over the course of League of Legends Patch 9.1, scheduled for release Thursday.

The new skins depicted in splash art included in Tuesday's patch notes show each of the champions as members of the Blood Moon faction, an ancient cult set in Ionia. The members of the cult, one the spookier groups in League of Legends' lore, merge with demons to gain power.

The skins were previewed on the Dec. 4 Public Beta Environment update, more than a month before their release. Aatrox's skin will also feature in a Prestige edition.

Thirteen other champions have previously received Blood Moon skins, including Akali, Diana, Elise, Evelynn, Jhin, Kalista, Kennen, Shen, Talon, Thresh, Twisted Fate, Yasuo and Zilean.

League of Legends Patch 9.1 also brings ping improvements and balance changes for several heroes, with special attention paid to marksmen, Kalista, Ornn and Sejuani.
