Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn: Is the Comic Book Character Coming to the Game?

Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn has been a much talked about rumor since the game's reveal. Following the premiere trailer of MK11 at The Game Awards, Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn, partook in a Reddit AMA giving fans hope that the comic book character is coming to the latest entry in the Mortal Kombat franchise.

Here's why Mortal Kombat 11 may feature comic book anti-hero Spawn.

In the AMA McFarlane took part in, a fan asked if the character would be in the game. He simply responded, "I believe he's on his way...". Spawn would make his second major fighting game appearance after being an exclusive Xbox character for Soul Caliber II. 

Spawn's inclusion would create enticing fights for fans of both series if he is indeed added. Spawn could also be a precursor to ​more guest characters in ​Mortal Kombat 11.
