Knives Out Game: 5 Things You Need to Know

5. It is a Japanese Battle Royale Game

Like Fortnite and PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, Knives Out is a battle royale style game. There are 100 players in a game, and only one player will emerge victorious in a match. The game is set in Tokyo.

4. Knives Out Released in 2017

The game isn't a newcomer to the battle royale scene. NetEase released Knives Out in 2017, meaning it was around since the same time Fortnite and PUBG were released.

3. Available on Both iOS Store and Google Play Store

Knives Out is a mobile game, meaning players will need a smartphone device to play it. It can be played on both iOS and Android devices, as it is available in both stores.

2. It is a Hit in Japan

The game is a powerhouse in Japan. The United States accounts for only one percent of its business worldwide -- while 80 percent of its revenue came from Japan.

1. Made More Money than PUBG and Fortnite

Even though many fans might not be as familiar with Knives Out, the game apparently made more money than both its battle royale rivals: PUBG and Fortnite. Sensor Tower's report explained it made more money on Android and iOS devices than both PUBG and Fortnite in 2018.
