5 Most Overrated Players in FIFA 19

FIFA 19 always comes out with a rating system to try to be as realistic as possible. Giving proper credits and rating to players who deserve it is typically what EA Sports try to do with every gave they come out with.

That being said, sometimes players get overalls that they clearly do not deserve. Here is a list of the five most overrated players in FIFA 19:

5. Dani Parejo (Valencia)

Being a 86 overall, Dani Parejo ranks the same among players like Marco Verratti and Douglas Costa. This puts him in a strong list of players that he clearly doesn't match with.

Even at the age of 29, the Spaniard is playing well this season, but his best games are most likely behind him.

4. Gianluigi Buffon (PSG)

Gianluigi Buffon is currently taking a back seat to starter Alphonse Areola, and it is the right move. Buffon is now 41 years old and clearly isn't the same player he was in his prime.

This being said, being an 88 overall in FIFA is just a crime as he should have been downgraded.

3. Alexis Sánchez (Manchester United)

When Sánchez made the move to United from Arsenal, no one really expected what to see. With his form declining at Arsenal, there was hope that he would get better joining a new club.

Now that he has been with the Red Devils for just over a year now, it is safe to say Sánchez hasn't done much to impress. With a 87 overall in FIFA 19, it is a shame he isn't lower as he hasn't shown that he deserves his current stats.

2. Diego Godin (Atletico Madrid)

At a 90 overall, you would think Godin would have some incredible statistics that would make him an unstoppable defender in FIFA 19. The exact opposite is the case when you see his dribbling and pace.

With 68 pace, 64 dribbling and 65 passing, this defender is more of a liability than an asset.

1. Mesut Ozil (Arsenal FC)

After a disappointing 17/18 campaign for Arsenal, Mesut Özil has yet to show he is worthy this year of his 86 rating in FIFA 19.

Having just scoring three goals with one assist, the German attacking midfielder hasn't been impressive at all in 14 games. While his form could come to him in the upcoming month, a downgrade for Özil is most fitting.
