Apex Legends Tier List: Which Legends Are the Best?

Apex Legends tier list is a budding topic since the game's launch on Monday.

The new battle royale sports a diverse array of characters, known as Legends, for players to choose from at the start of each round. Legends all have unique ability sets, including one passive ability, one active ability, and an ultimate ability. While every Legend has its place in the game, some tend to perform better than others.

Here is what will surely be one of many Apex Legends tier lists.

Apex Legends Tier List: S Tier

At the top of the tier list we have Lifeline and Bangalore. The two Legends perform very different functions, with Lifeline as one of the strongest supports in the game and Bangalore as an offensive powerhouse.

Lifeline's extra healing is a huge boon for teams, as are her quicker revives. Her Care Package ultimate is where she pops off, securing powerful gear for her team. Bangalore, meanwhile, shines especially because of her movement ability and her ultimate Rolling Thunder.

Apex Legends Tier List: A Tier

The tricksters Wraith and Mirage make up the A tier. Invisibility's power is hard to overstate in a game like Apex Legends, and both Wraith and Mirage make use of it. While Mirage's invisibility is more immediately useful, Wraith's is much more easily abused given strong communication. Regardless, both are more than solid options.

Apex Legends Tier List: B Tier

Gibraltar in this tier may be the most underrated in this list, but only because his place in the meta isn't so clear yet. While shields are useful, they're not as flexible as some of the other abilities in the game. Bloodhound's abilities, meanwhile, can be approximated with strong game sense, making them somewhat redundant among great players.

Apex Legends Tier List: C Tier

Pathfinder's movement abilities could be really powerful in the right hands, but until players master them, the robot will likely stay mostly irrelevant. Caustic, meanwhile, has no learning curve; he's just not very good. His traps are easy to spot, making them all but useless. The grenades are a little better, especially because he can see through the gas, but compared to the abilities of other Legends, Caustic just doesn't cut it.
