Anthem world events are special occurrences that take place in the game's shared spaces. These events can come in all kinds of different shapes and sizes, with very different repercussions. Here's everything you need to know about Anthem world events.

Anthem World Events: Everything You Need to Know

World events are shared-world experiences that are dynamically generated in Anthem. They work similarly to raids in other MMORPGs in that they provide opportunities for cooperation among a group of players who team up to take down a threat that would destroy them each individually.

Because Anthem has yet to release there aren't many example of world events to draw upon yet to get a sense of how they'll play. The most visually impressive world event we know about so far is the Shaper Storm, which appears while players are exploring beyond Fort Tarsis. Players can fly into these wormholes and appear in somewhere new.

Another type of world event debuted in the Anthem demos is the Ancient Guardian event. These events spawn massive enemies for players to take down. In the demo, that enemy took the form of an ash titan, though there will likely be more possibilities in the full game.

For more information on Anthem world event's, we'll have to wait for the game to drop Feb. 22.
