Anthem Ranger Build: Everything You Need to Know

​Anthem Ranger builds will soon be all over the internet, as the game's release draws ever nearer. For now, builds are mostly predicated on theory crafting rather than practical applications of those theories, as access to the game is limited to demos. Here's one such theory for players to try out in their own Anthem games.

Anthem Ranger Build

The Ranger is typically billed as Anthem's classic all-arounder — jack of all trades, master of none. While that's largely true, the Ranger can also do excellent damage to single targets. One build that takes advantage of that combines the Ranger's Frost Grenade with its Spark Beam.

This combination allows the Ranger to freeze an enemy in place, then use the Spark Beam on a stationary target, melting the enemy's weak point down very quickly. Taking the Muster Point support option can up this damage even further.

Try this combo out for yourself in the Anthem demo, or when the game releases Feb. 22 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
