Aidan "Zirene" Moon, a League of Legends caster, announced he is no longer working with Riot Games. His last day working for Riot Games was March 7.
After 5 years of shouting at league - March 7th was my last day at Riot Games. I have left to explore and pursue other opportunities. I will be returning to streaming, content creation, and seeing what other offers are out there for me. Thanks for all your love and support, ggwp— Aidan 'Zirene' Moon (@Zirene) March 13, 2019
Zirene began working for Riot Games in 2014 to cast the NA Challenger series. He later went on to join the NA LCS broadcast team. He remained a caster for Riot Games since then and will leave the company to pursue other opportunities.
"I will be returning to streaming, content creation, and seeing what other offers are out there for me," Zirene explained.
It is unknown if he will look for opportunities casting for games other than League of Legends. Eefje “Sjokz” Depoortere, another former full-time Riot Games employee, announced she will continue working with Riot Games on a freelance basis. She recently revealed she will cast her first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament.
