'A Spirit Guide' WoW Burning Crusade Classic Quest Guide
By Jack O'Dwyer
Horde players in World of Warcraft will need to summon a wolf spirit in order to solve exactly what's going on in Hellfire Penninsula.
It looks like the Alliance aren't the only ones with problems in Outland. The Horde certainly have their own problems to solve within their Hellfire Penninsula stronghold, Thrallmar. Despite making friends with the local uncorrupted Mag'har Orcs, not everything is easy pickings with the fel army roaming about.
Krun Spinebreaker found that out the hard way.
"A Spirit Guide" WoW TBC Classic Quest Guide
This quest is part of a chain that kicks off with "The Assassin" in Thrallmar. It comes on the heels of "The Warchief's Mandate" after bringing the Heavy Stone Axe to Far Seer Regulkut.
Regulkut will tell the player that, while their wolves have formidable senses, even they can have difficulties tracking in such harsh terrain. Instead, the far seer wants to reach beyond the physical plane and use the fallen orc's essence to find him.
"The spirits have a way of seeing the world differently than ours. The being you will call forth will find the person you seek, for they'll be drawn not to their scent but their essence," she says.
Regulkut will hand the player an Ancestral Spirit Wolf Totem and instruct them to place the totem where they found the Krun Spinebreaker at (33, 44) and follow the wolf that appears.
The spirit wolf will ultimately lead players to Mag'har Post. However, it is extremely important that they keep up with the wolf at all times. If a player wanders too far from it or attempts to ride ahead it will despawn.
The wolf emits an aura that players need to speak with Gorkan Bloodfist at the outpost. Once despawned, players will lose the aura and will need to return to Krun's body and start the process all over again.
Rewards for this quest include a leveled boost to experience and reputation with the Mag'har Orcs.
