Abyssal Barnacles are an obtainable item in Valheim that can help you craft useful tools. Here is everything you need to know about how to get them and what they can offer you,

Abyssal Barnacles can be mined from the backs of leviathans, creatures that can be found in the ocean biomes of Valheim. The leviathans stay close to the surface, but as you mine the barnacles with a pickaxe, they will begin to submerge themselves back into the water. You should keep a boat nearby so you do not drown.

Abyssal Barnacles in Valheim: Everything You Need to Know

Once you obtain the Abyssal barnacles, they give you Chitin, a resource that can grant you crafting access to the Abyssal harpoon and Abyssal Razor, two high damage weapons that can be upgraded. The harpoon can also help relocate animals into a pen, such as boars. The knife does high damage, and can be further upgraded to have 250 durability points: a solid durable weapon.
