AC: Valhalla fishing is a great way to take a break and relax between quests.

Ubisoft knew that players enjoy taking breaks—whether it was from home-life to game or from battle to questing. So, with the implementation of fishing in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla (AC:V), players can take a break in-game while they're taking a break out of the game.

To unlock the ability to fish, Ravensthorpe should have the Fishing Hut built at settlement level 2. There are 19 species of fish to catch in total.

AC Valhalla Fishing Guide

We've already given a quick rundown of how to fish in AC:V, but for those that need a refresher, the process is quite simple. Pick a spot along the water and press down on the D-pad to bring up the command to fish. From there, they can aim their cast with the left trigger and throw their line by tapping the right. A fish will eventually bite, which will then allow it to be reeled in by pressing the right trigger again. Reeling requires and combination of the "A" and "X" buttons.

Now, all that remains is actually finding the fish. Fortunately, after players build themselves a Trading Post, they can begin to buy scrolls from Ayli under a peculiar name: "Fantastic Fish and Where to Find Them." There are three total scrolls which can be obtained at settlement levels 2, 3, and 4, respectively.

These scrolls detail all the fish available in-game and where Eivor can find them. For convenience's sake, we've listed all the fish and their locations below:
