Assassin's Creed Valhalla debuted on Nov. 10 and The Stench Of Treachery is one of the many quests players are looking to complete.

The action-RPG is based in breathtaking Valhalla and centered around Norse mythology with players living the Nordic life. Let's break down everything you will need to know in order to complete The Stench of Treachery.

In this quest, Soma is tasked with seeking out the traitor within her inner circle. Players will have to put on their detective caps and begin to compile evidence to help uncover the traitor.

AC Valhalla The Stench of Treachery Quest: How to Complete

Because AC Valhalla is an RPG, the decisions players make need to be strategic and thought out. Any brash decision has the potential to backfire and prevent the completion of the quest.

Making matters worse, the traitor is one of the three captains of the team. The captains are Birna, Lif, and Galinn. Soma will provide the player with a quest for each of the captains that will help shed some light on who has betrayed her.

This quest can go two ways for the player: they choose the right person as a traitor or unfortunately making a mistake and choosing the wrong captain. Here come the spoilers.

The Right Decision

Galinn is the traitor in the inner circle of Soma. If the player choose Galinn, Soma will kill Galinn in front of the other captains. For the player, the captains are grateful that he was able to decipher who was harming the inner circle. Birna will now join the Raven Clan.

The Wrong Decision

If the player choose either Birna or Lif as the traitor, Soma will deal with the character. This decision will result in hostility towards the player, and things will continue to get worse. Galinn kills the remaining captain. This will lead to the player and Soma into an arena boss battle with Galinn as they are ambushed by him and the British soldiers. The Danish will be upset about the events but won't blame the player for their choice.
