We've put together an easy-to-understand list of the minimum and recommended system requirements needed to play Far Cry 6.

Ubisoft has released a set of parameters players should meet in order to "make sure your PC is ready" to play the game. Regardless of whether one plans to follow the minimum or recommended settings for Far Cry 6, they should make sure their PC is running at least Windows 10 (v20H1) and that they can run DirectX 12.

All requirements are taken directly from Ubisoft for the best possible accuracy.

Minimum System Requirements to Play Far Cry 6

This set will achieve 30 FPS at 1080p with DirectX Raytracing off:

Recommended System Requirements to Play Far Cry 6

This set will achieve 60 FPS at 1080p with Direct X Raytracing switched off:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X – 3.8 GHZ or Intel i7-7700 – 3.6 GHZ
  • GPU: AMD RX VEGA64 – 8 GB or NVIDIA GTX 1080 – 8 GB
  • RAM: 16 GB (Dual-channel mode)
  • Storage: 60 GB HDD (SSD Recommended)

This set will achieve 4K quality at 30 FPS with DirectX Raytracing turned on:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X – 3.7 GHZ or Intel i7-10700k – 3.8 GHZ
  • GPU: AMD RX 6800 – 16 GB or NVIDIA RTX 3080 – 10 GB
  • RAM: 16 GB (Dual-channel mode)
  • Storage: 60 GB HDD (SSD Recommended) + 37 GB for HD textures (optional)
