Among Us has acquired a new update to its Public Beta this month. Several changes have been made that are sure to make the experience that much more sus for all players.
Developer InnerSloth has been hard at work to improve and add content to its strategic co-op title, Among Us. The game has rocketed to viral fame in the past few months hitting the upper tiers of Steam, the Apple App store, and Google Play. Even Twitch streamers are supporting its rise as one of the top choices to watch.
Among Us Public Beta: How to Opt in to the New Update
Players can opt-in to the new beta update via their game properties menu for Among Us in their Steam Library. Simply locate Among Us in the Library sidebar, right-click and select Properties, then find the Beta tab and choose "public-beta" from the dropdown options. The game should update automatically.
Changes with this update include:
- Adding an option for the host to hide the progress bar outside of meetings or for the entire game.
- Allowing the host to make player votes anonymous.
- Upgrading the wiring task to be color blind accessible by associating each wire with shapes rather than just colors.
Among Us is currently available on PC via Steam, Android, and iOS devices.
