Among Us Server Issues: Fixes to Try for Connectivity Issues

Among Us server issues are prevalent more than ever as fans continue to jump on the bandwagon.

Among Us is the popular party game taking over Twitch, Steam and mobile devices. The game plays much like Werewolf, Town of Salem and Mafia. Crewmates battle it out against a select number of Impostors. Crewmates must complete tasks around the map while Impostors set out to kill them.

Games are won a select number of ways. Crewmates can finish their tasks or uncover the Impostors. Impostors can kill enough crewmates or have a sabotage successfully happen. The game is simple and content creators have made it their own.

Unfortunately, as the game grows more and more server issues pop up. Here are some odd, but known fixes to bypass connectivity and server issues.

Switching Regions

This fix is solely based on internet connection. As more and more players join the North American servers, some players tried using the Europe and Asia regions. Depending on location, Europe servers are playable as the game doesn't rely too heavily on ping. Using a different region should help with making a lobby and having players connect. Just be wary of the connection issues that might come after.

Public Match Finder Fix

A strange fix that shouldn't necessarily work. One major connectivity issue players have is connecting to a lobby once made by a friend. Players found out that by loading and connecting to the public match finder and then backing out to try the code again gave them success.

Spamming the Arrow

This is the most bizarre, but strangely enough a reliable trick. Players found out that spamming the join arrow after typing in a code ended up yielding results. Don't knock it until you try it.

Restarting the Game

Have you tried turning it off and on again? If not, try it. Sometimes it works.
