Animal Crossing New Horizons flowers cover the entire map and there are loads of different types.
Every player starts out with a native type of flower, and through some steps, you can further expand the breeds of flowers on your island.
Here's everything to know about flowers.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Flower Guide
After building Nook's Cranny, you can then purchase more flower breeds. To get a ton, you can travel to some friends’ islands or grab some at a Nook Miles Island.
The game has lilies, roses, mums, pansies, windflowers, hyacinths, cosmos and tulips.
Like in previous Animal Crossing games, crossbreeding and creating hybrid colors is always an option with the flowers. The best way to get this done is to plant your flowers in a checkerboard pattern. You also need to remember to water your flowers to help them grow.
By planting certain colors next to each other, you can bring out a new one.
