Animal Crossing: New Horizons is Introducing Sanrio-based villagers and items to the game next month. After almost a year since its release, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will finally add in new characters for the first time since its launch.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Introduces Sanrio-Based Villagers and Items
As you can see from their announcement video, six cards from the Sanrio amiibo card collection will have villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons based on them. The six chosen cards are Hello Kitty, My Melody, Little Twin Stars Kiki and Lala, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, and Kerokerokeroppi. Respectively, the six villagers arriving will be Rilla, Chelsea, Etoile, Marty, Chai, and Toby. These six villagers will also be able to order new Sanrio-themed items from the in-game store to spruce up their house and town.
The good news is that all of the cards will come in a singular pack, so there won't be any fear of missing out on any, as you can only purchase them all. Of course, they' card pack will likely be in high demand, so fans who want it should be prepared to get them quick, or they'll be forced to wait until they're restocked.
The Sanrio amiibo card pack will arrive in retail stores in America on March 26, so fans here will have to wait until then to add these villagers to the game.
