Animal Crossing New Horizons June Bugs

From discovering Scorpion Island to noticing Goliath beetles on palm trees, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has many different types of bugs for June. Players can catch these rare bugs and sell them to Flick, who buys insects for 150% of their typical price.

For players who live in the Northern Hemisphere, there are six unique insects that are introduced in June. Players can catch:

  • Emperor Butterfly (4,000 Bells)
  • Firefly (300 Bells)
  • Goliath Beetle (8,000 Bells)
  • Mosquito (130 Bells)
  • Rainbow Stag (6,000 Bells)
  • Drone Beetle (200 Bells)

While players in the Northern Hemisphere can discover six new bugs during June, there will also be other many other insects to catch. Users should look out for Queen Alexandra's Birdwing Butterflies, which are sold at 4,000 Bells, and Scorpions, which are be sold at 8,000 Bells. Players, however, should be wary of Scorpions as they can chase users and sting them.

Other high-priced insects in the Northern Hemisphere include Hermit Crabs, Rosalia Batesi Beetles, Jewel Beetles, Tiger Beetles, Man-faced Stink Bugs, Giant Water Bugs, Banded Dragonflies Orchid Mantises, and Madagascan Sunset Moths.

Animal Crossing New Horizons June Bugs

For players in the Southern Hemisphere, there are three new insects that are released in June. Players can discover:

  • Dung Beetle (3,000 Bells)
  • Emperor Butterfly (4,000 Bells)
  • Rajah Brooke’s Birdwing (2,500 Bells)

Although there are three new bugs to catch in the Southern Hemisphere, players can still enjoy finding other high priced insects such as Tarantulas and Wasps.
