Animal Crossing: New Horizons May bugs have been revealed as every month brings in new bugs and rotates out old ones. This mimics the real world and adds a layer of complexity to the game because to fill the museum, you have to catch the bugs before they rotate out.

The Northern Hemisphere is getting many more new bugs than the Southern Hemisphere because the Northern Hemisphere is headed into summer, while the Southern Hemisphere is headed into winter.

The most notable bugs coming to new Hemispheres are Tarantulas and Scorpions. They are dangerous bugs so visiting friends in the other Hemisphere wouldn't let you catch them. Players should be careful or the first time they meet these new bugs will end in failure.
