Animal Crossing Release Date Change: Has it Changed?

Afflicted by cabin (and Animal Crossing) fever due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, many fans have wanted an early release for Animal Crossing: New Horizons to cope. Nintendo has never been one to bow to fan demands, and are sticking with the March 20 release date.

Gamestop is selling Doom Eternal a day early on March 19 to separate both release events. They have also cancelled their dual midnight release. This does mean that if you were going to get both, you would have to go out twice. You could also just go once if you want to wait a day for Doom.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the latest main series Animal Crossing since New Leaf in 2012. Anticipation is high and expectations even higher, but you'll just have to be patient and wait until tomorrow. What's another day to eight years?
