Apex Legends' April Fool's Day event has yet to be officially addressed by Respawn Entertainment, but data mining suggests there will be some tomfoolery on the day in question. Here's what we know so far about Apex Legends' April Fool's Day event.

Apex Legends April Fool’s: Is There a Planned Event?

Given that Respawn Entertainment has celebrated April Fool's Day in Apex Legends in the past — last year it added gold Mozambiques to the game — it's no surprise to learn data miners expect more shenanigans this year.

Reliable Apex Legends data miner Shrugtal says the gold Mozambique will return, dealing 19 damage per pellet and holding nine rounds. But this time it will have company. The P2020 appears to be receiving a gold version that will deal 26 damage, have +7 ammo, and deal 190 damage if fired when riding a zipline or balloon.

Shrugtal also says the event will bring airhorns, loot rollers "raining from the sky" and "a lot of gold weapons."

Players will need to log into Apex Legends on April 1 to see the chaos firsthand.
