Apex Legends' Awakening Collection Event was announced Thursday morning, giving fans plenty of new content to devour. Alongside new cosmetics, the player base can enjoy the Control LTM again, visit Lifeline's Town Takeover and finally collect Valkyrie’s new Heirloom.

Lifeline’s Town Takeover

As described in the blog post, "head east on Olympus to rest up at Lifeline’s Clinic in her new Town Takeover." The former spot takes over the Bonsai Plaza, and from the looks of the trailer will have a unique area where players can patch up. Looks like a main spot for players to fight from as you can be healed at the same time.

Control is Back

World’s Edge is joining the rotation for the first time with the return of the limited-time 9v9 mode Control. From the looks of the trailer, the 9v9 map will be placed at the Lava Siphon, where there is a tram that travels back between two points. This should be a perfect spot for some chaotic action.

Limited-Time Cosmetics and Event Rewards Track

There will be 24 event-limited cosmetics and Valkyrie’s new Heirloom: the Suzaku. And now, players can complete challenges to unlock and earn rewards in two unique weekly event tracks.

The event goes live on June 21. Play for free now on PlayStation® 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Origin and Steam.
