A new Apex Legends bug is adding a random textures to the front of players' guns, making it impossible to see, let alone aim at enemies.

Some of these stuck-on textures are more disruptive than others. Apex Legends subreddit user u/ManOfNeil posted footage of the bug Thursday, showing how the texture for a massive rock attached itself to the front of their gun. The texture completely obscured their vision when aiming down sights, and wasn't much better when firing from the hip.

"So, I got this dope new gunshield for Ash, I'm just not entirely convinced about [its] effectiveness," they joked in their post.

Players in the comments said they'd experienced the same glitch and managed to fix it by dropping the affected gun and picking it back up. One player suggested that swapping it between position one and two also works, and another player suggested turning off the Impact Marks setting would solve the problem more permanently.

To turn off Impact Marks, open the settings menu and select the Video tab. Scroll down to Impact Marks and drop the setting to its lowest possible mode.
