Apex Legends' resident thief, Loba, will receive changes to her ultimate in the game's next update, according to game designer Daniel Zenon Klein.

When an Apex Legends player suggested several buffs Loba could use to the game's subreddit Tuesday, Klein responded to the thread by clarifying what the team means by quality of life changes and discussing its approach to balancing Loba.

"I am really cautious to touch her tactical even though i understand we'll likely need to do it eventually because I remember what it was like in earlier testing when it was faster and less well telegraphed," Klein wrote.

"For next patch, I'm trying to tackle the problem that usually by the time you get your first use of her ultimate, your team has already looted their first PoI and doesn't really need the ult anymore."

Klein did not specify how the team aimed to address the problem of Loba's ultimate timing. Respawn Entertainment could solve the problem by making the ultimate charge more quickly, or making its contents more powerful, but without further word from the developer, it's hard to say for sure.

Apex Legends Season 6 arrived Aug. 17.
