Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment will remove a single, troublesome tree from Kings Canyon after player complaints have piled up around it.

The tree in question can be seen in this clip, posted to the Apex Legends subreddit Friday by u/kolkoin. It stands near the Salvage point of interest in the southwest corner of the map, but the trouble is caused by its placement close to a bend in the wall. Players trying to stick as close to the corner as possible run straight into the tree and get trapped, leading to frustrating deaths.

Apex Legends developer Absurdist responded to kolkoin's thread to say the tree would soon be out of the game.

"[T]hank you for calling this out!," they wrote. "It's actually really helpful to see pain points like this, since it helps guide what will need extra focus when going forward!"

Absurdist did not say when the tree would disappear, saying only "it might be a little bit before this gets in to live."
