A new Apex Legends double XP weekend kicked off Thursday, developer Respawn Entertainment announced.

The double XP weekend will function as previous bonus experience events have, reserving the bonus for top performers in each Apex Legends match. Players who reach the top five of a match will receive twice the experience, while players who fail to do so will receive normal XP.

The double XP weekend is scheduled to run until 1 p.m. ET Monday. It coincides with the final weekend of the Voidwalker Event, an in-game event that began Sept. 3 and centered around the in-game character of Wraith. The event previously added new cosmetics and a limited-time mode to the game, and spurred the debut of an animated short divulging Wraith's origin story.

Apex Legends Season 2 began July 2. Apex Legends Season 3 has yet to receive an official name or start date.
