Want to loot an Explosive Hold in Apex Legends but don't have a grenade on hand? It appears this exploit has you covered.

Explosive Holds were first introduced as a new Vault type unique to Kings Canyon in Season 8: Mayhem. While Kings Canyon's Explosive Holds remain not as lucrative as vaults and bunkers of other maps, they are easily one of the most accessible vault types in the game as all players merely need is a well-placed ordnance to blow those doors open. Thanks to this bug showcased by YouTuber RossBobSquirrel, however, it appears the process has been made even easier as players can enter Explosive Holds on Kings Canyon without having to waste a grenade.

As RossBobSquirrel demonstrates in their video, the only thing players need in order to pull off this exploit is to have a Revenant use his Death Totem Ultimate Ability.

This is because this glitch abuses the mechanic in which players are returned to the totem after they die.

Have Revenant place his Death Totem as close as he can to one of the doors on an Explosive Hold. Next, use the totem to get the rebirth the effect and die via jumping off the map, getting shot — the method doesn't matter. Once you respawn, you should be able to have clipped right past the locked door and into the hold.

Although you have access to its weapons, ammo and valuable attachments as usual, doing this also keeps both of its doors closed, which can lead to some funny surprises. Additionally, after opening both of the doors from the inside, one of the center consoles will simply be floating in the air.

Respawn will likely patch this exploit soon to prevent players from abusing it in important competitive settings.
