Apex Legends' most recently added Arenas map, Encore, has been suffering from a few strange glitches concerning the map's architecture. Some players have been shot through walls and other forms of cover around the map, but more recently players have found areas of the map that have a cover where it isn't intended to be.
Reddit user u/keanetjd has recently shared a clip where he was able to temporarily avoid all of his enemies' shots by ducking behind an invisible wall on Encore. The invisible wall was solid enough to prevent enemies from shooting the Redditor and the other way around.
Respawn is aware of the glitches and currently has a hotfix under development. Apex Legends' lead level designer Dave Osei (u/StryderPilot on Reddit) recently commented on a post concerning a player being shot through a wall confirming that a fix is on the way.
"Ugh, I'm sorry. This sucks. We should've caught this earlier. Working on a fix." Osei said.
When it is working properly many players feel that Encore is one of the better maps to be added to Arenas, so it is a shame that it is burdened by such game-ruining glitches. To make matters worse, Encore is also already featured in the ranked Arenas mode. Meaning players could lose an important round or even game because of these glitches.
