Apex Legends Players Show That Sentinel is Still Broken

Apex Legends players have been in a tough spot lately with the Sentinel and the Rampage. Both are rather powerful and both have a bug with their charging mechanism. Even after receiving a fix and a nerf, players seemed to want the Apex Legends without the weapon.

And it's only been three days since Respawn tweeted out, "A small update to just went live to fix the following: A crash related to the MIL-SPEC skin, an issue with charging weapons, re-enabling the MIL-SPEC skin, Rampage, and Sentinel in-game."

That's the problem. The weapon was supposed to be fixed, and still has a problem with charging. As you can see from the clip, after repeatedly trying to charge the Sentinel, it never remains charged. The weapon should be charged for a certain amount of time or for a certain number of shots. Instead, after one shot, the charge disappears.

As for the Rampage, it's not about it still being bugged, but whether the weapon itself is broken. LMGs in Apex Legends are in a strange space. Some have ridiculous recoil control, allowing players to use them even at medium range, while others work as intended, hard to control, but deadly at close range.

The Rampage is a little bit too controlled, and players don't like that. We'll see if Respawn eventually continues to balance the weapon.
