Apex Legends ranking system is on its way to the game, but specifics aren't yet abundant. Here's what we know about the system so far.

Apex Legends Ranking System: What We Know So Far

According to information from Respawn Entertainment, the Apex Legends ranked mode will be based on a matchmaking system with six tiers. Ranks will run as follows in ascending order: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Apex Predator.

Ranking seasons will run in conjunction with Apex Legends' normal seasons, making them around four or five months long. Players will then receive rewards based on their ultimate placements.

Respawn has shared little else about the system, but it's possible the developer will explain more ahead of the system's release, just as it did Friday with the changes to the challenges in Apex Legends Season 2 Battle Pass.

The ranked system is scheduled to arrive with Apex Legends Season 2 on July 2.
