Apex Legends Season 7 is set to release at 11 p.m. ET Wednesday, Nov. 4. EA announced the switch to Steam with the idea of expanding the player base of the game through a more established gaming platform.

The new season will feature a brand new map named Olympus and a new legend named Horizon. Both the map and legend have been hinted at several times over Season 6, bringing a lot of excitement to the upcoming season.

Apex Legends Season 7 Release Time: When is it?

Apex Legends Season 7's new map Olympus is a city floating in the clouds. Once a floating utopia of the greatest scientific minds in the Outlands, an experiment went wrong and created a Phase Rift. The city was abandoned and then converted to an arena for the Apex Games. Players will compete in an urban-based setting to defeat enemy squads on Olympus.

Horizon is an astrophysicist who lived on Olympus before it became an arena. Her abilities are focused around her astrophysicist background by manipulating gravity. She can launch players with her Gravity Lift. Spacewalk allows her to control herself while falling and her ultimate ability, Black Hole that pulls enemies into it and releases a blast at the end.
