Apex Legends Update 1.29 hit the live servers on Wednesday and introduced Valentine’s Day Rendezvous. The Valentine's Day themed event will last from Feb. 12 through  Feb. 18.

If you're looking for patch notes, Respawn Entertainment barely made notes for the new event. Everyone is focused on the return of duos.

Here is a list of the three notes for Apex Legends Update 1.29

  • Address performance issues
  • Valentine’s Day Rendezvous event now live from February 11 to 18
  • Stability improvements and bug fixes

As you can see, nothing specific was addressed. But you can now play duos with your friends which is actually a big deal. Apex Legends is known as a three-player squad game, no more, no less. Unless Respawn releases special events, you can only go in with a squad of three. Despite the popularity of solo and duos, Respawn has stated they will stick with trios unless a special event arrives.
