1. His Real Name is David Wang

Though the banner on his Twitter profile lists his name only as David W., aqua's real name is David Wang. He hails from Austria.

2. He Just Turned 17

Aqua has his 17th birthday July 13, just a couple short weeks before he became a millionaire on the back of his Fortnite World Cup performance. According to Epic Games, the average competitor at the World Cup was 16 years old, putting aqua just above that average.

3. He Gained Over 10,000 Followers After the Win

By the time aqua and his teammate Emil "Nyhrox" Bergquist Pedersen had finished lifting the trophy, both had received more than 10,000 new followers on social media.

4. He Makes YouTube Content

As a certified Fortnite professional, aqua makes YouTube videos about the game in addition to live streaming gameplay on Twitch. He currently has 67,000 subscribers on YouTube.
